Weekly Message 2/23/25

Good evening, Washington Families,

 

This is Principal Paul Travers with your weekly message.

 

Thank you for your understanding last week as we navigated remote learning and late-start delays.

 

This Friday, come join us for dinner, popcorn, and a movie at 5:30pm, for our Title Summer Camp Fair and PTO Movie night. We will be watching the movie Inside Out 2 on the big screen.

 

Tomorrow the Career Café will be visited by a Hairstylist. Also, tomorrow we will have afterschool tutoring for select students.

 

On Tuesday, our SAS afterschool club will be Fairy Tales in Action.

On Wednesday, February 26^th, our kindergartners will be taking a field trip to the Kaleideum, our afterschool SAS clubs will be Cheerleading, Majorettes, and Culinary Arts & Etiquette, and Interim Reports will be coming home.

 

On Thursday, our 3^rd graders will be taking a field trip to the Greensboro Children’s Museum and we will have afterschool tutoring for select students.

 

This Friday our 2ⁿ graders will be taking a field trip to the Greensboro Children’s Museum, and we will have SAS Flag Football after school Also, come join us on Friday at 5:30pm for our Title 1 Summer Camp Fair and PTO Movie Night.

 

Your weekly Health and Wellness Tip for this week is: Exercise doesn't have to be a chore. Turn it into quality time with your kids. Go for a bike ride, play tag in the park, or have a dance party in your living room.
